The rune storage was decrepit and old, and seemed like it would collapse any minute if not for the magic holding it in place. The Shade did not vacillate as he reached for one of the Dark Runes sitting on endless row of shelves. As he gripped the Rune tightly with his hands, the magic slowly engulfed him, and transported him to a place of pandemonium.Houses were burning, the heinous Undead army was pillaging the village, killing all living beings in sight without any sign of remorse.

After much procrastination, the usually reticent Shade decided to attempt to steal some of the ancient runes due to his overwhelming curiosity about the boy who appeared in his mind. The Shade knew that if he was caught stealing the Ancient Runes, the punishment would be fatal, but he felt an unseen force tugging at him, beckoning him towards the Rune storage place. As he approached the rune storage, an authoritative voice barked out, "What audacity! How dare a low rank soldier like you trespass this place!" However, using that glib tongue of his,the Shade managed to retort a convincing reason to the skeleton sentry, and slipped inside the rune storage.

Raydon felt nothing but antipathy for the rock as his magic, unable to hold it in the air for long, failed and the came crashing down to the ground again."Try again Crayon.." the halcyon and somewhat felicitous Rashik drawled again."No!Lift the rock yourself; i won't."Much to Raydon's surprise, the elf suddenly turned austere."Without grasping the true potential of magic, you will never excel in it, but be like those erudite and arrogant elves in the Magic Guild, wasting hours over trying to convert cheap ores into gold!"

Due to the countless battles grandmaster Rashik had been in, he had sustained a grotesque scar on his left arm which had left the arm useless.Even though crippled, Rashik was the epitome of all the elves, and possessed the utmost dexterity.Raydon had felt compassion for the old elf at first, but the impossible tasks were beginning to frustrate him as he failed once again to lift that humongous boulder."Find the inner power, Crayon.." the old elf wheezed.Raydon threw a malicious glare towards that repugnant elf hovering above the ground, ever so peacefully meditating.

The whimsical and mien Raydon suddenly felt a disturbance in the balance of magic, like a sudden burst of power being released. He ignored it; the Elves responsible for concoctions always had unstable potions exploding suddenly causing a surge of magic through the air. He had more important things to do, like accomplish the task his master had gave him.A few weeks ago, he was flabbergasted to have received an invitation from the renowned Rashik who was gaunt and an expert at magic. Now, he was expected to lift a humongous 50kg rock with magic, which he was unable to do."You must have equanimity, Crayon.." the old man wheezed, forgetting Raydon's name again.

Essay
The lives of many people revolve around money.People use it to buy daily needs, a life of luxury and even gain power. For some people, money is everything. But is money really everything?Does money really make the world go round, or is it just the root of all evil? Can money buy true happiness, love and friendship?
Money can buy many things people desire;a car, a house, a life of luxury. Some people claim that money can buy happiness as it can purchase their desires, create happiness in them and buy happiness indirectly. But often, happiness comes with a price. To earn a humongous amount of money to constantly satisfy their desires, most people concentrate only on earning money and working, and the relationship between them and their family may deteriorate. This could result to quarrels, divorce and sometimes even murder in a fit of anger when the partner voices out his or her dissatisfaction. This in the end would result in a broken family, or even a sentence to jail.Would the person be happy then?Or would he be deeply regretting his actions? There are people who are happy without having a huge amount of money, or a luxurious life. These people live mostly in the countryside, where life is much more simple than in the city. These people are content with what they have, and are happy just with their family by their side. They do not require a spacious car, a cosy bungalow or money.
Some people feel that with money, they would be able to get a partner or make more friends. But is this the love they are seeking?People who befriend them may not be true friends, only people who are trying to get some easy money.
Money also creates hate in people, and is one the main reasons for war. Many wars were started due to the greed of humans, who want more money and power, and decide to take it from weaker countries by force.Wars are main fought due to quarrels over territory and money.Take the World War 2 for example. Why did Japan become aggressive and attempt to take over huge parts of Asia when its neighbouring countries did not threaten it?Japan wanted more territory as it felt that it has too little land and money to survive. If Japan had not went to war, many lives would have been saved and peace would have ensured.
In conclusion, i think that money can help people on the way to happiness, and not actually buy it.Money does make the world go round as it creates a fair trade for almost everyone. When people buy things such as rice, the money they pay for it is split amongst people who have done their job in delivering the bag of rice to the place of purchase, and in a way, everyone wins. However, i feel that money is also the root of all evil as it creates jealousy and hate in people, and is one the main reasons for murder cases, quarrel amongst people and wars.Embrace the comfort that money brings you, but be wary of it.

The Shade grimaced as he carried his cumbersome equipment to his site of training, beside a clumsy necromancer who had accidentally tripped over his overflowing robes, and what seemed like ancient runes fell onto the decaying ground."@#$@#!!" the necromancer cursed, spouting vulgarity(flamboyant language xD) out of that evil mouth of his. As the Shade picked up one of the many runes that had fallen onto the ground, he was abruptly transported to a burning village being pillaged by Undead, with a little boy trapped in a burning hut. The boy had unkempt and disheveled hair, and bore a striking resemblance to the Shade. Before the Shade had recovered from his shock, the rune he was holding was torn away from his hands as the necromancer stalked away.
